TheMusicMagazine.co.uk Reveals Dannii Minogue Steals Cheryl Cole's Crown as Nation's Sweetheart

London, United Kingdom, December 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Simon Cowell used to be the undisputed X Factor judge with the most kudos. His comments were harsh, but most people thought accurate. At the same time Cheryl has always been thought of as the darling of the nation. However, this series has seen a reversal of both of these.

A poll run on TheMusicMagazine.co.uk asked pop fans who they thought had been the best judge across the series - with a shock result:
Dannii – 79%
Cheryl – 13%
Simon – 6%
Louis - 2%

The poll was run by PoLLCODE and took the votes of 563 pop fans.

Earlier this year it was reported Simon had told the girls to toughen up when judging contestants. Dannii seems to have taken this on board while Cheryl, more secure in her position, has been more lenient (except of course with Wagner). This seems to have won her the respect and acceptance of the British public after a shaky start back in 2007.

Nicholas Barber of the site commented "Dannii has been the most honest judge across the series and has shown she has a strong position as rumours fly that Nicole Scherzinger could be lined up to replace her."
