Heimore Group and RM5 Software announce a Nordic -level partnership agreement. RM5 Software produces RM5 IdM, a next generation IdM –solution.
Helsinki, Finland, December 07, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Heimore Group and RM5 Software have announced a Nordic-level partnership ageerment. RM5 Software produces RM5 IdM, a next generation IdM –solution.
"RM5 Software's approach in this area is very similar to ours," explains Sami Mäkelä, CTO of Heimore Group. "Compared to rest of the market, RM5 IdM Data model is more business centric, and the terms are more concrete," continues Mäkelä.
RM5 IdM is found installed from Insurance companies, financial institutions and public organizations in Finland and Sweden. The product is also introduced into Central Europe. With this agreement Heimore and RM5 can expand their co-operation into Norway and Denmark.
"We have operated close to our Swedish customers for almost two years. The contract with Heimore opens the market for us into a much greater width," tells Christian Sundell, RM5 Software´s Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
"From the customer IAM –process delivery point of view Heimore and RM5 complement each other. We also get knowledge to package RM5 IdM –product with Heimore services with a new way, which has not earlier been available in Finland," continues Sundell.
RM5 IdM can be used to manage both internal and external users and services (applications). Unique product features cover among others:
Controlling of entitlements through power of attorney
Defining entitlement matrixes for individual objects
Through the first mentioned point, entitlements can be defined for example between a company and its suppliers: the company gives its insurance supplier (broker) a power of attorney to manage company's employees pension agreements, instead of using its own resources.
Defining entitlement matrixes for individual objects makes it possible to use highly fine grained and flexible entitlement structures, with the same existing data model.
RM5 IdM includes an innovative user interface for administrators, and also an effective user interface for business unit managers, for taking delegated entitlement management decisions as close the business operation as possible.
