Dr. Bill Rabon Elected to District 8 Seat in North Carolina Senate
Raleigh, NC, December 04, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA) (http://www.ncvma.org/) has announced that NCVMA member Dr. Bill Rabon has been elected to the N.C. Senate representing southeastern North Carolina in the 8th Senate District, representing Brunswick, Columbus and Pender counties.
Rabon is an active community member, serving as vice chair of the Brunswick Community College Board of Trustees. After attending N.C. State University, he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia in 1976. Rabon was Brunswick County’s first veterinarian and is a partner in Brunswick Animal Hospital, Southport Animal Hospital, and Oak Island Animal Hospital, as well as a successful small business owner.
