One of UK's Leading American Importers Pledges to Reduce their Carbon Footprint

Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, January 27, 2007 --(PR.com)-- One of the UK's largest American Car Importers, Importmyvehicle.com Ltd is trying to do their bit in reducing the carbon footprint that the vehicles they import leave behind. For every single vehicle that they import into the UK they pledge to invest in The Carbon Neutral Company who invest in environmental projects around the world.

Each customer is given a certificate stating that they have invested in helping to reduce Carbon emissions with details of how their donation is being spent.

Managing Director Nick Roach, recently said, "American Vehicles actually have very strict emissions controls and even though they have large engines actually are 'cleaner' than a number of European equivalents. We do understand, however, the effect any vehicle can have on the environment in which we live and feel that by investing in this project we will be not only be doing our bit but hopefully persuading other companies to follow suit."

With the recent exchange rate being so favourable towards importing American vehciles, Nick says they have seen a huge increase in the number of people looking to the US to source their new motor vehicle.
