New Orleans based Your Time Publishing, LLC signs author, Patricia M. Dixon.
Houston, TX, December 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Patricia M. Dixon has signed with Your Time Publishing, LLC to publish her first book of psalms "Praise Is What I Do." Ms. Dixon said, “Praise Is What I Do is first and foremost an expression of deep love and commitment to the God. Its words are an outpouring of praise and worship.” The poems in this volume cover everything from expressions of praise to poems about controversial issues.
Essayist Patricia Dixon of Houston, Texas via New Orleans thanks to the winds of 2005’s Hurricane Katrina. Since arriving in Houston, Ms. Dixon has become a Lifetime member of Gulf Coast Poets and Poetry Works Workshops. Ms. Dixon recently completed her Master's Degree in Literature from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and is currently pursuing a Stegner Writing Fellowship to Stanford University. Her goal is to be an independent poet, author and college professor. She has also affiliated herself with many clubs and associations: Poetry Society of Texas, Bay Area Writers League, Academy of American Poets, Writer Sagemont Life Magazine, Editor Marrow Student Literary Journal 2009-Present, Editor Speaking from the Yard: Less than the Least, Ministry Sagemont Church, Member Sagemont Church, Houston, TX.
