ROJO Designs Bistro That Defies Economy and Looks Good Doing It
Innovative Design and Creative Entrepreneurs are a Formula for Success at Park Square Cellar in Tampa, FL.
Tampa, FL, December 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- ROJO Architecture, a Tampa based architecture and interior design firm, has completed work on Park Square Cellar, an upscale bistro, wine bar, live music venue and retail boutique establishment. The original Cellar was a local staple but is now gaining city-wide attention with its contemporary design, acclaimed chef, creative menu and great live performances.
Park Square Cellar had a loyal following of clientele (the Cellar Dwellers), a difficult combination of programs (retail, dining, bar, live music), and wanted to make sure the expanded space would be flexible to host large and small groups. “We wanted to do this project once, and do it right”, owner Shawn Sarkisian said of the six month design and construction project. The resulting design combined modern fabrics and textiles to divide the spaces and allow reconfiguration to accommodate varying crowds. ROJO Principal John Saldana describes the design best when stating “exploring PSC reveals a winding path of discovery through textures, lighting and materials”. Reinforcing this is the heart of the space, the flowing bar, constructed of metals and woods, complimenting the warm hospitality of the Park Square team.
"While the wine is amazing, the creativity of Chef Alex leaves no stomach unfulfilled," says principal Jonathan Moore. For something different, try the Beer Nuts for Wine Snobs, grapes rolled in brie and pistachio, then follow with the grilled tuna, complimented with kimchee, edamame puree and soy caviar. This is high living in the heart of Fish Hawk Ranch. See more of PSC at www.parksquarecellar.com.
