Stairways Behavioral Health Ranked #18 Among Best Places to Work in PA in 2010
Stairways Behavioral Health is named among top 20 of the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania for the fifth year.
Erie, PA, December 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Stairways Behavioral Health has been named #18 among the Best Places to Work in PA for 2010, and is the only Western PA-based company to place within the top 20 on the list of companies with 250 or more employees. Rankings were announced on November 30, 2010, at an awards dinner at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, PA.
This year’s award is the fifth for Stairways Behavioral Health, who also won Best Places to Work in PA accolades in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009.
Representatives of the companies ranked among the top 100 celebrated their unique cultures and the benefits they award their employees.
Four representatives from Stairways Behavioral Health attended the awards dinner, including Yolonda Avery, a Stairways 2009 Distinguished Service Award winner, and Director of Human Resources, Michael Lawson. Stated Lawson of Stairways accomplishment, “Most important, this recognition goes to the great Stairways’ employees and Board of Directors who for the 5th year have earned this award.”
Since 2000, Best Places to Work in PA has been a celebration of jobs and the employers who provide them. It’s a program made possible by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), with additional public and private sponsors.
