JIB's Tumble Tots Named “Best Children’s Activity Provider”

Davao City, Philippines, December 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Tommy’s, a charity organization based in England, has named the Tumble Tots franchise as this year’s “The Best Children’s Activity Provider.”

Tumble Tots is the leading preschool in Britain and is the world leader in early education since 1997. It is an international franchise that started in the United Kingdom and currently has more than 800 centers worldwide, including the Philippines under the Joji Ilagan Foundation, Inc.

“The Tumble Tots Schools here in the Philippines is truly proud of this recognition,” Tumble Tots Philippine Franchise President Joji Ilagan Bian said. Tumble Tots has been in operation for 7 years in Davao City, 6 solid years in Libis, Quezon and soon to open in 2011 in General Santos City.

Bian said it is the only preschool in the Philippines that offers a complete range of early childhood and preschool education programmes from 2 months to 6 years old.

Tommy’s was formed in 1992 as a result of the frustration of two obstetricians working in the maternity unit of St. Thomas’ Hospital in London. They started to implement fundraising activities and poured the funds for more research into pregnancy problems.

The cause was taken up by others including a charity fondly called “Tommy’s,” which now leads the way when it comes to fetal and maternal research in the United Kingdom.

The nomination period for the Awards ran throughout January and February 2010, resulting to around 127,500 votes. The awarding ceremony was hosted by Carrie and David Grant while the awards were presented to the winners by celebrity moms including Jo Whiley, Terri Dwyer, Nancy Sorrell, Amanda Lamb, Sunetra Sarker, Zoe Tyler and Janey Lee Grace.

“Tumble Tots is a trusted global name that focuses on the development of the whole child-- emphasizing intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth,” Bian said.
