FXstreet.com Launches New Optimized Website

Barcelona, Spain, December 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- FXstreet.com has recently introduced a new layout and an improved navigation of its website. The main goal is to create a better experience for the users.
One of the most visible changes made is a cleaner design and improved readability. The site has been restructured to have a two column layout. The left menu has been moved to the top of the page below the main menu to keep all the navigation together. Also, darker text and more spacing have been added to help make it easier for everyone to read on the web.
The navigation of the pages are meant to be easier than before and more intuitive. The objective is also to give the feel that the pages are lighter and more spacious.
Another fundamental enhancement is a system improvement that is going to optimize the speed at which the pages are loaded. This will ameliorate the performance of the website.
Francesc Riverola, CEO of Fxstreet.com, explained why this renovation of the website was necessary: “Through the feedback of our users and the studies we made, FXstreet.com was seen as a very trustable, complete and informative Forex website, but too crowded and not easy to navigate. Traders want to quickly find what they are looking for and in a couple of clicks. Everybody's got to learn from their mistakes and keep improving: FXstreet.com had to be more fluid and we've been working on this during the second half of 2010. We hope the result will meet the users' expectations.”
Through this change, FXstreet.com's aim is to improve the user experience, encouraging them to keep coming to the website, and once there, stay longer. The new website also offers more visibility to its contributors as well as a new distribution of the advertising spaces.
As underlined by Yohay Elam from ForexCrunch, “for people that visit the site only very occasionally, the change isn’t dramatic, but for everyday users, these little improvements make a big difference.”
The “Latest Forex News” (http://www.fxstreet.com/news/forex-news/) page has been improved as well through a filter of the news items by categories, currencies and news providers. This feature will save time for traders as they can focus on the stories of main interest.
