Landover Hills, MD, December 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. (BAM FI) seeks community assistance to report and alert authorities of missing children, women and men of color.

"BAM FI utilizes all avenues to learn about and to feature missing persons of color," said President and CEO Derrica Wilson. "Reporting a missing person is an emotional and sometimes tedious and overwhelming task for the family. At BAM FI, we are here to help with this difficult process. We would like the public to get involved and to alert us of anyone in their community that may be missing and need to be returned to a safe environment."

The profiles provided will be disseminated and highlighted through various avenues, such as BAM’s clearinghouse/Web site, social network sites, media outlets, and law enforcement. The staff works closely with AOL Online and America’s Most Wanted to feature missing persons of color.
