FISC Solutions Contracts with NY Catholic Charity
Lewiston, ME, December 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- FISC Solutions, a back office service provider for over 30 years, has executed contracts with the Capuchin Franciscans of the Province of St. Mary to provide donation processing (caging) and data entry services.
By partnering with FISC to process their paper check donations, the Capuchins will benefit from an automated and accelerated processing environment without the capital investment.
FISC’s caging services offer traditional manual processing combined with advanced data capture and image recognition. Combining document scanning, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and manual handling, FISC electronically captures, manages, and archives web, phone, cash, check and credit card donations. A single consolidated daily file is sent back to the organization for posting into their system to update donor accounts.
Charities and non-profit organizations that maintain caging operations in house are often faced with similar problems including backlog during peak volume periods, inefficient processing, and compliance and security concerns. By working with a third party, these problems and the associated risk are avoided by the organization.
