New High-Wattage Steam Cleaner for MRSA Jobs
DaimerĀ® announces its most powerful series of machines for destroying dangerous antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
Woburn, MA, December 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Daimer Industries, Inc.®, a key provider of disinfecting hardware, announced the 10000 series of KleenJet® steam cleaner systems for disinfecting hospitals, locker rooms, military facilities and other environments where MRSA bacteria thrive. The new series includes seven lines of vacuum and non-vacuum steam cleaners offering Daimer®'s ATIS®, certified, anti-microbial technology.
"Conclusive tests of our ATIS® systems against MRSA have compelled us to offer more lines with the technology," said Matthew Baratta, an ATIS® system spokesman for Daimer.com. "As a result, we've added 30 new high-end steam cleaner machines for customers faced with large disinfecting applications."
Thirty New Anti-MRSA Steam Cleaner Units
MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) is a germ that causes hard-to-treat infections in people. The infections are often immune to standard drug treatments and can cause fatalities.
Infections can be prevented with proper sanitizing practices that can include the use of appropriately equipped, high-temperature steam cleaners. Tests in a national facility showed ATIS® to be effective on MRSA organisms.
Daimer®’s new MRSA-fighting line of ATIS® steam cleaner equipment includes 30 new machines spread across four lines: the 10100, the 10200, 10300 and 10400. All of the steamers are available with or without industrial vacuum systems, except the 10400, which are vacuum-only machines.
All 30 machines offer pressure levels that can approach 150 psi, temperatures that can approach 386º F, 14-liter boilers and 20-liter automated refill chambers. Boilers are warrantied by Daimer® for the life of the equipment.
The machines vary in wattage, which correlates to the density and amount of steam the machine can produce during continuous use – the higher the wattage the more steam. Wattage ranges from 15,000 watts for the 10100 series to 40,000 watts for the 10400 series.
For additional information about the tests or Daimer® steam cleaner machines, vapor steam cleaner equipment, portable steam cleaners or steam cleaners for floor applications, visit www.daimer.com/steam-cleaners/ or call Matthew Baratta at (888) 507-2220.
