Julia Baker Confections Announces Kosher Certification Approval for Line of Luxurious Chocolates and Confections
Scottsdale, AZ, December 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Julia Baker Confections (JBC), the luxury confections brand launched by Le Cordon Bleu-trained Pastry Chef Julia Baker, has officially been certified as Kosher by the Greater Phoenix Va’ad Hakashruth, a nonprofit agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix that oversees compliance in accordance with Jewish dietary laws.
“We are very excited to have completed the detailed process of being Kosher-certified,” said CEO and company Founder Julia Baker. “The Kosher community is vast and well-informed; we’re happy to be included as one of the accepted vendors!”
Included in the company’s Kosher certification are the milk and dark chocolate ganache squares as well as Julia Baker’s award-winning truffles. Va’ad Hakashruth Rabbi David Rebibo and his team visited the Julia Baker Confections production facilities several times during the certification process in order to review the company’s processes and ingredients. “Becoming Kosher means that we can reach out to the Jewish community at large,” JBC’s Chief Operation Office, Francesco Roccato, explained. “We can translate this news into positive results on our bottom line.”
