Consider the Ava Gardner Museum Gift Shop for Your Holiday Shopping
Gift shop offers Ava films, books, calendars, clothing and many other items
Smithfield, NC, December 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Visitors to the Ava Gardner Museum will find that the Museum’s Gift Shop offers unique Ava Gardner items, not to be found anywhere else. With the upcoming holidays, the Museum Gift Shop is an option for gifts for family and friends.
Items added to the Gift Shop in the last few months are: new t-shirts, golf towels, visors, the 2011 calendar, new ornaments, and an Ava Gardner Museum Coloring and Activity Book.
Since 1999, the Ava Gardner Museum has created an annual calendar that includes exceptional photos of “the most beautiful woman in the world.” As Ava was one of the most photographed women at MGM, the Museum has a large collection of photos to share through these annual calendars, without ever repeating a photo. The calendar also includes information about Ava’s life, noting dates of film premieres and family members and co-stars’ birthdays. The 2011 Ava Gardner Museum Calendar is $10.00 (past calendars are $2 each or purchase the entire collection 1999-2010 for only $15).
The Museum is very excited to offer for the first time the Ava Gardner Museum Coloring and Activity Book. The book includes 24 pages of images to color and activities ranging from “connect-the-dots” to word search games, while also relating the story of Ava’s life in child-appropriate language. The Ava Gardner Museum Coloring and Activity Book is $6.00.
If you have a daughter, granddaughter, or niece in the family named Ava, the Gift Shop offers several items that display “AVA” prominently, including an “AVA” sterling silver charm for $25. The Gift Shop also stocks signed copies of the biography Grabtown Girl by Doris Cannon ($15) and Ava’s autobiography Ava: My Story ($30), an out-of-print collectible.
For more information about the items available for purchase in the Ava Gardner Museum Gift Shop, call the Ava Gardner Museum at 919-934-5830, visit the Museum, or purchase online at http://www.avagardnermuseum.mybigcommerce.com.
