Craft Designs, Inc. Achieves CMMI Level 3 Certification

Huntsville, AL, December 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Craft Designs, Inc (CDI) is pleased to announce that it has received the rating of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level (ML) 3 from the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI). This rating is an internationally recognized achievement that is often used as a prerequisite for many government and commercial software development programs. In order to achieve this rating, CDI proved that their corporate processes are standard across the company and are repeatable, predictable, and consistent amongst development groups, teams, and projects. CDI’s organizational and development processes were written and maintained by their team and are the backbone to their on-time/on-budget completion of both small and large projects. This achievement required corporate commitment and a team approach to process improvement, safety, and quality. This rating reaffirms CDI’s commitment to providing robust solutions for defense, aerospace, and industrial automation applications.

CDI specializes in process driven software development and independent verification and validation of flight safety critical and airworthy software applications, employing advanced testing techniques such as "fuzz testing" and structural coverage analysis. CDI has many years of experience in developing Flight Performance Models and other applications that interface with multi-platform mission planning tools.
