Winter Springs School Recipient of Brand New Website, Courtesy of Longwood, FL Company

LifeSkills Academy will have a new online “face” after a Florida company stepped up to support the school by donating a website re-design. The special needs private school in Seminole County helps children with autism, sensory processing disorder, language delays and other learning disabilities that will benefit from early and intensive therapy.

Orlando, FL, December 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- LifeSkills Academy has a long history of excellence when it comes to “providing a multi-sensory approach to academic success.” But after eight years the electronic presence of the Winter Springs School wasn’t keeping pace with that academic and therapeutic excellence. Enter David Axel and his Longwood, FL based Problem Solved LLC. Axel has combined the know-how of his own company with a passion for helping autistic children and scored a big win for LifeSkills Academy of Orlando.

Axel's company is well-known as an online revenue generation firm which builds and maintains websites, runs e-commerce and social media for the likes of the NCAA and International Travel Solutions. And as the father of a child with a form of autism called Asperger’s Syndrome, Axel knows firsthand how important it is to get the right therapies for children with sensory processing disorders.

After learning of the programs at LifeSkills Academy in Winter Springs, Axel knew he had skills of his own that would help LifeSkills Academy better reach parents in Central Florida. "The LifeSkills Academy provides a fantastic learning experience but is a well-kept secret,” said David Axel, CEO of the Problem Solved. “We wanted to let the community in on the secret."

There are approximately 3,000 individuals with some form of autism here in Central Florida so the work of the LifeSkills Academy is crucial. Autism is a complex neurological developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and impacts the normal development of the brain in the areas of social interaction and communication skills.

The new Life Skills website will help parents understand their mission: “To create an individualized high quality academic, social and behavioral learning environment to allow for each child to reach his or her potential.”

Axel's Problem Solved LLC team redesigned and rewrote the website to simplify the user experience and make it more accessible to the parents and children who need therapy and support. Axel has also donated 12 months of website support and hosting. The new site will be available online in January 2011.

Axel adds, “Coming from a family of educators and also having a brother with special needs, I’ve always thought it would be great to help both of those groups and this was an excellent opportunity to do just that.”

The newly designed website is a win for children, parents, and local business, and is a great example of what creative thinking and passion can accomplish.
