Worlds of Wow, Changing the Way Churches Reach the Next Generation, Creates God's Amazement Park at Gateway Church
Custom Play and Theme Areas entice visitors and creates new opportunities to attract families.
Argyle, TX, December 15, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Stepping into “Gods Amazement Park,” guests and members of the new Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, will be entering a new era in the way churches reach the next generation.
Worlds of Wow, the innovative leader in creating destinations for children at church, designed the themed play environment that is inviting young families to spend more time at church exploring and playing as they learn about the bible.
Worlds of Wow and Beck Group, a well-known local architect, teamed together to create the childrens wing at Gateway church. The finished project includes themed kiosks, teaching stations, and check-in desks with state-of-the-art security. The park includes three custom themed play units, an overhead roller coaster, and the life sized “big book” for bible story time.
Children will find themselves in the midst of Tiny Town, Tyke Town, and the MegaLand Bubble Unit. Venturing to the 2nd floor of the amazement park, they will experience Topsy Turvy Town, complete with the Gateway Car Wash, Princess Chic Boutique, Sweet Dreams Nursery, Git N’ Gas, Gateway Grocery, and Angelo’s Pizza, just to name a few. The Flying Ferris Wheel is sure to excite 2nd and 3rd graders with the lights, hot air balloons, and overhead airplanes. Across from Topsy Turvey Town, 3rd and 4th graders will have a blast at the Rock n’ Roller Coaster.
Ken Jackson, Children’s Pastor, says, “How can I express what our children are about to experience but Wow! The Wow team has captured our vision for creating an environment where kids will want to come back to church week after week. Our kids have gotten a few glimpses of the campus and I can't wait to see the awe in their faces as they actually walk into God's Amazement Park for the very first time. I know that kids will want to come in, but we may have a hard time getting them back out. Thank you Worlds of Wow for partnering in ministry with us to reach the next generation.”
Opened November 2010, Gateway Church continues to expand the ministry so it has the opportunity to welcome even more people into the family of God.
