NAFA's 2011 Institute & Expo Registrations Coming in at Record Pace
NAFA Fleet Management Association is witnessing record registrations for its 2011 Institute & Expo.
Princeton, NJ, December 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Conference registrations for NAFA's 2011 Institute & Expo (I&E) in Charlotte, NC are coming in at a record pace – three times greater than at the same time last year. The I&E, the largest annual event in the fleet management industry, brings more than 2,000 fleet industry professionals together for four days of education, trade show experience, and networking. NAFA's 2011 I&E will take place April 9-12 at the Charlotte Convention Center.
Interest in the 2011 I&E may be coming from the addition of several new educational sessions designed specifically for the veteran corporate fleet manager. These sessions were designed by NAFA Fleet Management Association to meet the higher-level needs of veteran industry professionals. Taught by some of the premier minds of the industry, these sessions will provide fleet managers with the strategic outlook they need to succeed today and tomorrow. Each session will include interactive dialogue and discussion to allow attendees to take part in the learning experience instead of just listening to more "talking heads."
The new sessions designed for veteran corporate fleet managers include such offerings as:
* "The Mobilization of Fleet Management" – Discover how to apply technology through an integrated approach that ensures a successful transition from a web-based system to a hybrid of web- and mobilized systems.
* How Do You Get Remote Drivers to Change Behaviors?" -- Experts share ideas that have been proven effective, including initiatives that will have a positive impact on safety, costs, and operational efficiency.
* "Congratulations, You're the Global Fleet Manager! Now What?" – Top executives share how they identified and overcame obstacles to effective global management, including dizzying regulations, privacy laws, accounting standards, cultures, business practices, labor skills, and technology levels.
* "Managing through Merger, Acquisitions, and Divestitures" – More than just case studies, this session features expert direction and strategies for a successful transition of fleet asset from one company to another.
In addition to the educational sessions, the 2011 I&E will once again feature a pair of influential automotive executives as Keynote Speakers. Don Esmond, Senior Vice President of Automotive Operations for Toyota, has been announced as the first speaker, and the second is expected to be announced shortly. The trio of Keynote Speakers at last year's I&E (Mark Fields, Ford Motor Company; Peter Grady, Chrysler Group LLC; and Robert M. Lutz, General Motors) produced standing-room only crowds and served as one of the highlights of the conference.
