Wilshire Comedy Group Brings an All Star Comedy Show Featuring Chris Roach to the Cooperage Inn in Baiting Hollow, NY

Baiting Hollow, NY, December 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Standing 6’6” tall Chris Roach is bringing comedy to new heights. His self deprecating humor and mannerisms make this gentle giant stand out from the rest (or at least taller than the rest). Chris brings you into his world talking about everything from his family to some of his unusual life experiences. Chris’ love for comedy came at an early age. “I remember trying to stay awake as a young kid so I could watch programs like Saturday Night Live and The Benny Hill show” he said. His ability to make people laugh began early in his childhood “I became addicted to the sound of laughter immediately. I would’ve run full speed into a brick wall for a laugh. It’s something that only another comedian could understand,” says Chris. 3 parts Rodney Dangerfield-1 part Jackie Gleason-a splash of Benny Hill-3 magical beans mix contents together, add one microphone, and get the hell out of the way. Recently Chris can be seen as the “green pixel” on the Optimum cable commercials.

Also performing on this show is Al Isaacs who has been performing improvisational and stand-up comedy for the past 18 years. Starting and East-Side Comedy in New York he honed his skills alongside the likes of Kevin James (King of Queens) as part of the East Side Players Improv Troupe. His timing couldn't have been better as he cut his teeth working with Ray Romano, Joe Rogan and Jim Breuer just to name a few. Al has been featured on ABC, VH1, MTV, commercials and independent films. But Al's passion lies in front of a live audience. Whether an intimate club setting, a fund raiser in front of hundreds, or a festival before thousands he has proven time and again to adapt, engage, and entertain. Since he almost lost his Father-In Law in the tragedy of 9/11 Al has devoted himself to helping out charities related to police and fire departments in the New York area. To date he's performed in well over 4 dozen such functions and is always eager to give thanks through laughter to the brave men and women who selflessly protect us.

Hosting this show is Rob Cividanes. Robert performed in many off off Broadway shows between 1993 @ 1997 as well as regional productions such as Born Yesterday with the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble in PA. He earned his SAG card being cast in an episode of TV’s NYPD BLUE. Sketch comedy for the stage was next as Robert was co-writer & performer in the sketch comedy duo called R&R’s Cavalcade Of Whimsy. Writing & performing Stand Up Comedy was a natural next step in the progression of performance, the previous writing and performing experiences providing strong foundation for much of what is required as far as creating Stand Up Comedy. In addition to performing Stand Up in & outside of NY Robert has written, produced & performed in his One Man Sow “I Cried Until I Laughed” presented at the Eastcoast Aliens Salon in Brooklyn. Rob recently performed at Comix at the Foxwoods Resort.
