DirectRooms.com is announcing the world’s largest trade fair concentration on natural stone and its varied uses, which will open at Jaipur’s Export Promotion Industrial Park on 20 January and run for three days. The stone industry is a competitive part of India’s booming economy, with this event showcasing its world.
Jaipur, India, December 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Organised by the Centre for the Development of Stone, this trade show is the most eagerly awaited in the sector, attracting both international and national exhibitors. Participants in 2009 included companies from China, Italy, Turkey, Russia, Spain and the UK, all with specific country pavilions, as well as a plethora of Indian companies.
The 2010 exhibition will involve over 300 exhibitors spread around an area of 16,000 square metres. International pavilions are expected to number around 40, with the numbers made up by Indian companies from at least 12 states. Domestic exhibitors will be looking for export opportunities and international companies will be expected to enlarge their order books at the event.
Natural stone and its products, related equipment, packaging, safety equipment, related business and transportation services and trade associations will all be represented here. More than 70,000 visitors are expected, with the visitor profile including quarry owners, processors, importers, technical experts and marketing executives. Booking a Jaipur hotel close to the venue at the last minute is expected to cause problems.
