mamemo productions Appointed Once More to Produce Zayed Future Energy Prize (ZFEP) 2011
Two years after its much applauded staging of the very first Zayed Future Energy Prize, the international awards event is again to be managed by mamemo productions.
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, December 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- After producing the highly acclaimed inaugural 2009 Zayed Future Energy Prize (ZFEP), mamemo productions was once more appointed to manage the awarding ceremony for the third year of the international prize this 18th January 2011 at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi.
Recognized as the preeminent award in field of renewable energy and sustainability, the ZFEP draws an international audience of royalty, heads of state, ministers, and leaders from businesses, policy makers and institutes from the globe. The Prize honors the environmental stewardship and legacy of UAE’s Founding Father, the Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The Prize was officially announced in January 2008 at the inaugural World Future Energy Summit (WFES) by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
For the 2011 ZFEP awarding event, mamemo productions’ Managing & Creative Director Sam Katiela is in charge of conceptualizing, managing, and executing the full requirements of the entire production, including the design of the event concept and venue, and protocol coordination with UAE and international dignitaries.
The centerpiece of the event is totally different screen concept that covers the full width of the Emirates Palace stage, immersing the whole audience into the content that mamemo will co-produce with CNBC, the Global Business and Financial news TV network.
"Our production of the inaugural ZFEP in 2009 was groundbreaking in so many ways," said Sam Katiela. "Having set the bar so high, I have constantly thought of different ways to build up the momentum and bring the Prize’s important messages across in fresh and innovative ways. I am looking forward to realizing our partnership with Masdar again through the Prize."
The 2011 ZFEP Awarding Event will be staged during the World Future Energy Summit 2011, whose requirements are also supported by mamemo productions.
