Peter Greenberg Covers the World Again in 2010

New York, NY, December 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- CBS News Travel Editor and Westwood One radio host Peter Greenberg spent 2010 as he does most years — broadcasting every week from a different location around the world.

In addition to providing travelers with important tips and vital information, Greenberg, America’s top front-line travel news journalist, was on the scene to report about monumental news events. In the past year, he's been in the field covering timely topics such as the earthquake disaster in Haiti and the Gulf Coast oil spill, the volcano eruption in Iceland, aviation accidents in Brazil, and the deadliest highways in America. Along the way, he secured a one-on-one exclusive interview with the President of Mexico, Felipe Calderón and world leaders ranging from the King of Jordan to the first lady of Egypt.

“Peter Greenberg WorldWide has never been a travelogue show,” says PGW Executive Director Lyn Benjamin. “As a journalist, Peter has always been about real news and helping his audience have a better travel experience. It's about telling people the hidden rules, the unreported strategies that allow us not just survive the travel experience, but succeed. We intend to follow that formula in 2011, bringing the audience to new, exciting places and to the scene of important world events.”
