Insight Global employees support Toys for Tots this season with 1200 total toys.
Atlanta, GA, December 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Insight Global, Inc. was recruiting more than just IT professionals this holiday season. Insight Global employees rallied behind the U.S. Marine Corp’s Toys for Tots Campaign in a one-week spree to collect as many toys as possible for children ages 2-12 before the holidays. The 23 offices nationwide were able to recruit over 1200 toys for children.
Rich Lingle, Insight Global CEO, commented, “We were very excited to begin a new tradition of giving back to the communities we represent nationwide over the holidays through Toys for Tots. I was very proud of how our offices nationwide rallied around the cause and raised so many toys in such a short amount of time. Next year, each office will be an official drop off location beginning in October, and we hope to encourage even more people to contribute with us.”
The mission of Toys for Tots is to collect new, unwrapped toys which will be distributed as gifts to less fortunate children across the country. Annie Roberts, who coordinated the efforts, commented, “We appreciate the mission of the US Marine corps to offer hope to children less fortunate, and hope that these children will become socially responsible adults themselves as a result of the generous giving they experienced through Toys for Tots.”
