Friedel Discusses Newest Venture, “A Dog’s Life,” an Angels Gate Film Production
Costa Mesa, CA, December 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dawna Heising, producer and host of “Eye on Entertainment,” today announced that the latest segment of the popular cable TV series features an interview with acclaimed writer, director, producer Frederick Friedel. Friedel, whose credits include “Axe” and “Kidnapped Co-ed,” discusses his newest project, “A Dog's Life,” a poignant drama about a homeless deaf mute who loses the dog he can’t live without.
During his question and answer period with Heising, Friedel describes “A Dog’s Life” as “a love story that brings together the world of the homeless and the forgotten dogs in animal shelters. Our goal with the film,” he says, “is to raise awareness about both the current plight of homeless people and homeless animals in the United States.” “A Dog’s Life” stars newcomer Josh Luteran in his first leading role. The film also introduces an orginal song, “Every Day Is Paris,” written by Friedel, Jill Jaxx and her sister Jan Bunker and sung by Bill Suarez, who is currently enjoying acclaim for his recently recent CD, “The Impossible Dream.”
Concluding the interview, Heising admits that after viewing the film’s trailer she was moved to tears and tells Frederick, “The film has ‘Oscar’ written all over it.” “A Dog’s Life” is being released by Friedel’s San Pedro, Calif.-based production company Angels Gate Films.
