Metal Guitarist, Jeremy Wagner, Signs New Publishing Contract for "The Armageddon Chord"
Former Broken Hope band member, Jeremy Wagner, signed a publishing contract with kNight Romance Publishing for his new thriller, "The Armageddon Chord," to be released Summer of 2011.
Port Richey, FL, December 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Wagner has thousands of fans worldwide who worship his words, not only in his musical lyrics, but also between the pages of his short stories and novellas. As a successful musician, touring 16 countries with Broken Hope, and in 2007 forming a new band, Lupara, Wagner has also written lyrics to more than 70 published songs and dozens of short stories.
November 2010, Wagner received a phone call from his literary agent, Dawn Dowdle, announcing a contract offer from kNight Romance Publishing for his debut novel, "The Armageddon Chord."
“Hell may be hot, but 'The Armageddon Chord' is hotter,” says Mitchell, CEO, kNight Romance Publishing. “The story gripped me from the first page. Thrillers and horrors were my first love, thanks to my mother, who introduced me to the writing of Stephen King when I was a teenager. The 'Armageddon Chord' has the same style, much like King’s earlier writing, the type that grabs and traps you between the covers of the book.”
Since Wagner signed on with kNight Romance Publishing, the buzz about "The Armageddon Chord" was immediate. Fans poured in with the one question, “When will it be released?” The release date, according to kNight Romance Publishing, is set for Monday, August 22, 2010.
What’s in store for The Armageddon Chord? And does the book have what it takes to become listed among the ranks of best sellers? “Without a doubt,” Mitchell states. “This book is the type of book people will talk about for a long time.” Katherine Turman, journalist for Rolling Stone, Spin and co-author of the book, “Louder Than Hell,” says, “'The Armageddon Chord is like 'The Da Vinci Code' with a heavy metal soundtrack!”
The "Armageddon Chord" back cover preview: Hidden in the depths of Egypt, an ancient evil has waited thousands of years to be unleashed. Egyptologist, Helmut Hartkopff unearths a lost pyramid and discovers an ancient and evil song written in hieroglyphics. Kirk Vaisto, the “God of Guitar,” accepts the offer to transcribe and perform the song, unaware that he will unleash the Apocalypse upon the Earth. The stage is set. The Armageddon Chord plays … Can one musician find the strength to face the forces of good and evil? Or will hell on earth break loose and humankind be lost forever?
