20 Women Share How They Turned Pain to Purpose to Become Powerful Agents of Change

Twenty businesswomen discuss how they shifted from pain to purpose and became powerful agents of change as part of the Pain to Purpose Telesummit, set to air February 7-21, 2011. Free registration is now open at http://www.paintopurposetelesummit.com.

Lawrenceville, GA, January 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The 20/11 Pain to Purpose Telesummit introduces 20 women in business who will talk about how they have turned from pain to purpose and made their healing matter in some way. The virtual event will run for 11 days, Mondays through Fridays, Feb. 11-21, and is sponsored by the Make Your Healing Matter movement.

"I was so inspired by the work that these women are doing in the world," said movement founder Dawn Richerson. "I wanted to bring their stories front and center as powerful examples of pivoting from pain to purpose and being the change you wish to see."

Richerson will kick off the telesummit by sharing her own "Journey to Sacred Wholeness," which includes her unique healing journey from dissociative identity disorder -- a journey that led to the expression of her soul's calling and her life's purpose. Richerson now helps women worldwide connect with their "wise woman within" and identify the "great learning" that has come from their unique healing journeys.

The Pain to Purpose Telesummit brings together 20 women over the course of 11 days. In brief, 20-minute interviews designed for busy women, each will share something about their life wound, their blind spot or their point of pain, including practical insights into how they shifted from pain to purpose. The goal is to inspire women to live into their purpose and change their world one choice at a time.

Speakers include million-dollar business owners, thriving entrepreneurs, authors and founders of movements. For complete details, visit the event website at http://www.paintopurposetelesummit.com.

"This isn't an event that ends with listening to somebody else's story," says Richerson. "This is about challenging every women who encounters an example of pivoting from pain to purpose to step up and make it matter in their own life." A concurrent "Make It Matter" Challenge will engage participants in taking real steps to make changes in their own lives.

Free registration is now open at htt://www.paintopurposetelesummit.com. Visit this site for further details about this event and to connect with the Make Your Healing Matter movement.
