Fishkill Karate - Just For Kicks Martial Arts Students Win Leadership Award

Fishkill, NY, December 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- http://www.justforkicks.biz - Fishkill Karate - Two students from Just For Kicks Martial Arts serving the Fishkill, Beacon, Cold Spring, Hopewell Junction, Newburgh, Carmel & Wappingers Falls areas of the Hudson Valley, have won St. Marys School (Fishkill) Leadership Award.

Troy Moody who is an Assistant Instructor at Just For Kicks & Abigail Ganon-Vishnefsky (8 years old) have won the "Leader of The Month" Award for the months of October & November 2010. The award is given to the one student each month who is caught being an Instrument of peace and a leader to their classmates.

Troy and Abigail were recognized for their positive contributions both in the classroom and beyond it, as well as for being a leader in their concern for other's and making leadership decisions.

When asked about how he felt about the two students receiving this award, owner of Just For Kicks, Master Robert Blum, stated, "I am so happy for them both. I love that our students can be recognized for their successes. Both Troy & Abigail are students in our leadership program. They work everyday on character development and leadership skills. So, it's always nice to see these skills to use in their everyday lives."
