Nationwide Virtual March / Fundraiser Results from New Band Movie
New Band Movie / Documentary, "From the 50 Yard Line" currently in post production, is making 'band nerds' cool one movie goer at a time. Production company launches nationwide Instrumental Music Awareness and Fundraising Virtual March on the Internet after learning of the distressed music education situation across the country. Bands from across the country are signing up and organizing to raise funds for schools and those particpating bands are also listed in the film's credits.

The film "From The 50 Yard Line", presents the football field not only as a sports venue but also as a stage for the marching band. The viewer goes on an exciting adventure through high school band camp, auditions, prom, the marching season and national competitions. High School and College Band programs from across the country are organizing for a 1 day event of awareness and fundraising either for their own programs or for schools in need. Duke University is involved in organizing a fundraising event for middle school programs in their community. Students are donating their instruments to schools that need instruments. They have many schools that are organizing fundraising concerts, bake sales, yard sales, door to door gardening and snow shoveling, and more.
