Independent Security Evaluators Hires CEO
Independent Security Evaluators ("ISE"), a Baltimore, Maryland based information security consulting business, has hired Casey Pittock as CEO. Mr. Pittock is a former exeuctive of Philips, and was the founder of TelCARE Systems. ISE was founded by Dr. Avi Rubin, a full professor and the Technical Director of the Information Security Institute at the Johns Hopkins University. ISE is a custom technology consulting firm established to address the need for increased information security.
Baltimore, MD, February 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Independent Security Evaluators (“ISE”) has hired Casey Pittock as the Chief Executive Officer of this Baltimore based information security consulting business. Dr. Avi Rubin, president and founding partner of ISE, stated that the company’s rapid growth led to the need to bring in a CEO. “We have been very fortunate to have experienced significant growth since we started ISE two years ago,” said Dr. Rubin. “Our client base and reputation continue to grow, and in order to continue delivering the highest level of technical consulting expertise, we felt it was time to recruit a business leader to manage operations and provide strategic direction for ISE.”

Mr. Pittock has been a successful entrepreneur and has held high level corporate management positions. Most recently, Mr. Pittock was the Vice President and General Manager of the Senior Living business of Philips Lifeline, a part of the Consumer Healthcare Solutions division of Royal Philips Electronics. Prior to this role, Mr. Pittock was the General Manager of the OneSource division of Lifeline Systems, which was acquired by Philips in early 2006. Mr. Pittock became an executive at Lifeline following the sale of TelCare Systems to Lifeline in 1999. TelCare Systems was founded by Mr. Pittock in 1995. He is a graduate of Stanford University.
