Weller Haus Bed and Breakfast Begins Offering Weekend Scrapbooking and Crafting Retreats

Bellevue, KY, January 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Weller Haus Bed and Breakfast, located in Bellevue, Kentucky and just across the river from downtown Cincinnati, is calling all crafting groups--scrapbookers, beaders, stampers, card makers, rug hookers--anyone with a passion for crafts. The recently renovated Mary B Weller Event Center and Carriage Haus at Weller Haus Bed and Breakfast provide a combined 1700 square foot self-contained facility for crafters of all kinds. "This unique venue is the perfect getaway for crafters who are looking to gather with friends and family to share their interests in a fun-filled weekend," says Leanne Saylor, owner of Weller Haus. "We can accommodate up to 12 crafters, give them a cozy relaxing place to stay and feed them all weekend long so they can accomplish those projects that never seem to get finished when they're at home," states Saylor.

Weller Haus scrapbooking and crafting retreats are unique to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area as there are none of it's kind offered by a local bed and breakfast. The packages include a two-night stay at their property (Friday-Sunday) in one of their five guest suites, five complete meals, 24 hour access to the 1700 sq. ft. crafting facility, a goodie bag upon arrival and access to all amenities offered by the property. The price for this weekend of fun is $289 per person plus 6% tax.

While many crafting retreat facilities are set up "dorm style" with twin beds and perhaps 3 bathrooms to be shared with up to 12 guests, Weller Haus has gone in another direction. All suites have queen size beds and private baths within the suite, with four of them offering oversized jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. Saylor says "We recognize that the dorm-style set up for crafting retreats is the norm as there are many times that guests come not knowing one another. Weller Haus is targeting groups of friends and family that normally travel together and thus have no qualms about sharing their personal space."

Weller Haus crafting sessions are generally offered every weekend from November through early April and require a minimum of 6 crafters in order to book.
