About Dawn Wivell: As the State International Trade Director, Dawn Wivell is the Director of the New Hampshire Office of International Commerce and of the New Hampshire International Trade Resource Center. She is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring all state international trade related programs, strategies and activities. Ms. Wivell is also responsible for the management of the State's International Trade Resource Center, which opened in December of 1992. The Center houses OIC, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Export‑Import Bank, the international training arm of Southern New Hampshire University, the Food Export USA program, and the New Hampshire International Trade Association.
Ms. Wivell is involved in numerous international-relation organizations including the Eastern Trade Council, the New Hampshire International Trade Association, and the Granite State District Export Council. She is also a past director of the Software Association of New Hampshire (SwANH), a member of the Advisory Council to the Graduate School of International Management of Southern New Hampshire University. Dawn was the recipient of the NHITA Excellence in Trade Award, the national Vision 2000 Award, the SBA’s New Hampshire Small Business International Trade Advocate of the Year Award, and is a NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional.
