IPBR and ICBR on Board with Silent Sound Media for Alexisonfire Production
Toronto, Canada, February 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Image Pacific Broadcast Rentals (IPBR), Vancouver and Image Central Broadcast Rentals (ICBR), Toronto, are proud to have been a part of the recent Silent Sound Media documentary production of Juno Award winners, Alexisonfire. Shot with 4 Sony HDW-F900/3 HDCAM high definition cameras using, exclusively, Fujinon HD lenses, the concert footage is the major performance portion of a 90 minute documentary that is being produced by Meg Spevak and directed by Marc Travares as their 4th year student thesis project while in their final year at Ryerson University School of Radio and Television Arts. The production team also utilized numerous Panasonic AG-HVX-200 HD P2 cameras to cover backstage during the 6 sold out Toronto performances in December, 2006. They also chronicled the band’s every move including their American headlining tour which will be intergraded into the final documentary.
Ryerson University School of Radio and Television Arts Professor Richard Grunberg, introduced the students to IPBR/ICBR National Operations manager, Dale Rechner, in hopes of finding some guidance and assistance for this major endeavor. IPBR/ICBR embraced the opportunity to participate in the education process of these future leaders in Canada’s film and video production community. ICBR operations manager, Anthony Sacco, was instrumental in putting together a high definition camera package that suited the production’s needs and budget. IPBR/ICBR recruited Stosh Durbacz of Fujinon Inc. to participate in the project which utilized Fujinon’s HA18x7.6BERM, HA16x6.3ERD, and HA22x7.8ERM, High Definition lenses. Footage of the performance will be highlighted at this years NAB in Las Vegas at Fujinon’s Product Booth C4208.
Post-production will be done at Ryerson University School of Radio and Television Art’s facilities.
Distort Entertainment, and Bedlam Music Management, Alexisonfire’s management team have also been valued team members on this project.
Silent Sound Media is an emerging production company that was created as a way of collaborating with up and coming Canadian talent. Image Pacific Broadcast Rentals (IPBR), Vancouver and Image Central Broadcast Rentals (ICBR), Toronto, provide Standard Definition and High Definition broadcast technical facilities and production services across Canada. They are in are in development of a Mulitcam HD airpack with a delivery date spring 2007.
