biggAIR Screens for the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand
German biggAIR Gmbh getting ready to supply it's giant screens for the Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand.
Auckland, New Zealand, January 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- German-based biggAIR GmbH is ready to supply it's daylight video screens for the upcoming Rugby World Cup 2011 to cities and communities in New Zealand and Australia. The inflatable daylight screens from biggAIR are easy to install and to operate. Equipped with powerful videoprojectors from SANYO, they deliver high definition images on screens up to 280 sq ft. for up to 10,000 spectators.
Even small towns can afford such a system, that is much more cost effective than any LED videowall, and provide fantastic viewing of the Rugby matches held in big stadiums in different cities in New Zealand during the period of September 9th to October 23rd. Matches will be held in 12 different cities, among others in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Whangarai, culminating in the final match at Eden Park Stadium in Auckland on October 23. They will be transmitted live on television and the signal can be relayed to the biggAIR screen.
The cost of buying a fully equipped biggAIRcube is less than the rental costs of a LED videowall for the period of the Rugby World Cup. Cities can then later use the biggAIR giant screen also for any other events and thereby add a new visitors attraction to their town. Festivals, local sports events and concerts are a perfect opportunity to transmit video and images in giant format for enhanced visibility to large audiences.
Also other countries with enthusiastic rugby fans and teams playing at the games in New Zealand are preparing for public screenings. In France the "Fete des Rugbys" will organize public events in over 50 cities around the final match on October 23.
