DeLauro will deliver the Keynote Presentation on human trafficking and steps that Congress and Federal agencies are taking to address the tragic issue of human rights abuse.

Rosa DeLauro is currently serving in her 11th term as the United States Representative for Connecticut’s 3rd Congressional District. She serves in the leadership of the Democratic Caucus and as co-chair of the House Steering and Policy Committee. In the 111th Congress, she chaired the Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, and Food and Drug Administration, where she oversaw funding for the Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She was also a member of the Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Subcommittee.
