Bringrr Reinvents Phone Leash Category with Reminder Device That Also Serves as Car Charger
Simple-As-Can-Be Device ensures users never drive off without their cell phone again.
Las Vegas, NV, January 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Bringrr Systems, an innovative new phone accessories company, today announced the Bringrr Charge, a combination phone leash and car charger. The patented Bringrr Charge introduces a whole new level of simplicity to the Bluetooth-to-the-rescue reminder solutions now known as phone leashes.
Phone leashes, as traditionally known, are Bluetooth dongles that attach to a keychain. When separated by more than 30 feet from the user’s phone they sound an alarm. These leashes, however, need to be re-charged every few days, must be carried about, and will sound an alarm even when phone and keys are purposely separated. Such false alarms cause users to turn off their leashes at times, creating a situation where they need to remember to turn them back on again.
The Bringrr Charge on the other hand, is designed for users who don’t want to have to remember to charge yet another device or turn a leash on and off. Bringrr simply plugs into a car’s power port and can detect when the car starts. At that point it searches for the phone with which it has been paired. If the phone is found, Bringrr emits a pleasant beep. If no phone is found, it sounds an alarm (“Bringg, Bringg!”) and its light flashes red. Once paired, a user never needs to interact with Bringrr again and is guaranteed never to drive off without his or her phone again.
The Bringrr Charge will charge any cell phone that can be charged from a standard USB port. It supplies 500mA of power and comes standard with two cords—one with a mini-USB connector and one with a micro-USB connector. Devices needing other connectors can be charged with user-supplied cables.
