Seth Kahan Leads Executive Workshop Fundraiser for Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind
Innovative Leadership and Executive Strategy Consultant, Seth Kahan, conducted an executive workshop fundraiser at the Washington DC Board of Trade last month, sharing strategies and tactics for building and expanding business in a challenging economy.
Bethesda, MD, January 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Seth Kahan led an executive workshop fundraiser, “Driving Growth in a Sluggish Economy” on Thursday, December 9 from 7:30 am to 10:00 am at the Greater Washington Board of Trade, 1725 I St, NW, Washington, DC. All proceeds benefited the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind, a DC organization dedicated to helping the blind or visually impaired achieve independence.
Kahan, a change leadership expert, bestselling author and CLB advisory board member, provided guidance on increasing market penetration in a challenging economy. Topics included three strategies for driving growth in a difficult economy. Leaders from the private and non-profit sectors were present in the audience.
“My work centers largely on helping business leaders drive growth. This workshop looked at how the down economy can be leveraged to advantage. I spoke specifically about the opportunity window that exists when clients are less than satisfied – as they are in a challenging marketplace – and how business leaders can use it to create more value for their customers and thus drive growth,” says Kahan.
Kahan has worked with more than 60 CEOs and agency heads in both the private and public sectors. He has been designated a Thought Leader and Exemplar in Change Leadership and is the bestselling author of "Getting Change Right." He is also the author of Fast Company‘s blog, "Leading Change" (SethFast.com) and a regular contributor to the Washington Post column “On Success” (SethPost.com).
100% of the profits for the event benefited the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind.
