Sonitrol Pacific Detects, Police Arrest Two
Lynnwood, WA, January 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Police caught two people with a garbage bag full of women’s clothing from a Puget Sound area store after Sonitrol Pacific detected the break-in January 7.
Operator Kris Etheridge received an impact-activated audio sensor alert from Work ‘n More. She heard glass breaking, followed by sounds of “movement in the glass” and called Lynnwood Police.
When police arrived at the store, a man and woman tried to flee carrying a large garbage bag of women’s clothing taken from the store. Both were caught and arrested. All the store’s property was recovered.
Police are investigating to learn if the arrested couple was responsible for a break-in at Work ‘n More earlier this week. Sonitrol Pacific dispatched police on this event and officers responded quickly, but the burglar got away before being caught.
The store’s management is happy the intruders were caught.
