Award-Winning Singer Songwriter Billy Coulter Releases CD: "Trace: Live at Goose Creek"
Goose Creek Entertainment is proud to announce the third CD release from award-winning singer/songwriter Billy Coulter. This album was recorded live in May 2010 and contains six previously unreleased tracks, as well as a veritable “best of” collection of six more favorites from his first two CDs.

This album was recorded live in May 2010 and contains six previously unreleased tracks, as well as a veritable “best of” collection of six more favorites from his first two CDs. Coulter’s previous album, “Dose,” won him the 2008 Washington Area Music (WAMMIE) Awards for Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Roots Rock Recording and Roots Rock Vocalist of the Year. “This album really bristles with the excitement and authenticity of our live show. It was also a sort-of tightrope act because we performed five brand new songs at the concert. The new material is a slight departure from classic roots rock, since they span a range of influences that include rockabilly, Celtic, country and pop,” said Coulter of the new recording. “Not only did Goose Creek’s superb technical staff capture the concert’s intensity on audio tape, but many of these spirited performances will also be released on video,” he added.
Coulter’s triumphant return to writing and performing his music began in 2003. In the past few years, his songwriting and distinctive vocal style has earned him many regional accolades and his band plays regularly in the mid-Atlantic region at festivals and venues such as Strathmore, Rams Head, Birchmere, Barns of Wolf Trap and IOTA.
Combining live performance events and audio/video capture, Goose Creek Music and Entertainment partners with local , local venues, and local artists to bridge the gap between live and recorded musical experiences.
