Visiting Parks Features Utah
Las Vegas, NV, January 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Visiting Parks motto "Go Visit the Earth" describes their goal of attracting families, gen X and baby boomers to visit the wild places of America. Their web site now features Utah including 10 parks within the state.
Visiting Parks began emphasizing places to explore around Las Vegas. Their initial website VegasNature.com has successfully brought visitors from the strip to adventure in the gorgeous scenery that surrounds Vegas. Many website users email questions; "We are flying into Las Vegas tomorrow night and wanted to do something else besides gambling and shows, I have not seen snow since late 80's, is this far from the strip?" We answered; "The snow is at the Vegas Snow Resort which is a ski area and next to it is the Snow Park for sliding. It just snowed a few days ago and there is plenty of the white stuff up on the mountain. After your snow play. a great place to lunch is the Mt Charleston Resort. Go to http://www.vegasnature.com/SpringMountain.htm for a video preview and maps to the snow. It only takes about a half an hour from the strip."
VisitingParks.com expands upon this concept for Utah and many other areas in the West. Because most Americans travel by car, the U-Drive tours arrange the parks along scenic roads. Each park is introduced with a video showing the park's highlights however they hope that visitors go way beyond the highlights and partake in the excitement that exploring provides.
Their current U-Drive tours are SouthWest Utah, Canyon and River, Sierra, Northern Rockies, Southern Arizona and Las Vegas. The SouthWest Utah tour covers 10 parks and takes visitors along I15 then across Utah on route 12. Visiting Parks suggests well known parks like Zion and Bryce Canyon as well as places off the beaten path including the Virgin River Canyon, Devil's Garden, and Kodachrome Basin. Many visitors want to customize their trip to meet their holiday time restraints and the Custom Adventures page allows them to obtain assistance with their plans.
Visiting Parks' aim is to add new tours continually. Before summer, they will include an eastern Utah tour, traveling down US route 191 from Moab to Monument Valley. They claim that building VisitingParks.com is an avocation because they throughly enjoy their video shoots to capture pictures. Paul While, the lead architect, says; "We love staying at bed and breakfasts, and small hotels and eating in local restaurants because the locals tell us of many features that we would otherwise miss." If you would like to suggest some places, please email Paul at paul@visitingparks.com.
