D.C. & Co. to Host Valentines Benefit Party for The Milagro House. Not Just for Couples, for Everyone That Loves.
D.C & Co. and The Milagro House will be hosting a Valentines benefit party (not just for couples) For everyone that loves! At the Lancaster Elks Lodge 219 N. Duke St. Lancaster, PA on Feb. 10th from 9pm – 1am. Tickets are $10. adv. $12 at door and are available at Valentino’s Café & the Alley Kat. A night of live music and dancing, hosted by D.C. & Co. w/special guests (Clarence Spady) Cash bar, 50-50 drawings, and food will be available. The Milagro House is a long term, transitional & educational program for homeless mothers with children. Residents learn family skills, as they complete their education and start careers that will allow them to provide for themselves and their families, while being active volunteers in our community. The Milagro House started 1998 with one property on S. Christian Street and 5 families, and has grown to several properties and almost 30 families. The Milagro House is not government funded and survives on private and corporate donations from the community. Their needs are the same as any family on a day to day, month to month, and year to year basis, times 29.
Lancaster PA’s favorite party band, D.C. & Co. perform a wild rollercoaster mix of horn-powered, rock’n blues, swing, funk & jazz. Their three CDs continue to receive rave reviews in international press and radio play through out the world. Their music has been featured on major network television. Bandleader/songwriter Dave Costarella says, “The Milagro House, doesn’t just help, they change the lives of these families for generations to come, they change the face of our community for the best and for ever!”
Attendees to the event are also requested to bring a donation; recommendations include canned goods, household cleaning products, grocery store gift cards.
