Dow Jones Local Media Group Chooses Atex Advertising to Manage Entire Ad Operation
Dow Jones Local Media Group (DJLMG), the owner of community media franchises in six states, selected Atex Advertising to power the advertising operation for its eight daily and 14 weekly newspapers and websites.
Reading, United Kingdom, January 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Dow Jones Local Media Group (DJLMG), the owner of community media franchises in six states, selected Atex Advertising to power the advertising operation for its eight daily and 14 weekly newspapers and websites. DJLMG chose Atex Advertising to streamline its workflows by managing classified, retail and digital ads in one integrated system. Atex also allows DJLMG to centralize functions among its publishing divisions and supporting infrastructure to realize operating efficiencies.
With the Atex Advertising solution, DJLMG will oversee IT and disaster recovery in its New Brunswick hosting center. The DJLMG system joins Atex advertising systems for The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post, all managed from the same NewsCorp facility. The Atex solution will standardize DJLMG’s advertising practices across all its publications, leading to greater efficiency and flexibility when building new advertising campaigns and sales packages.
Atex Advertising features the OneView platform, which gives DJLMG Web-based tools to build role-relevant user experiences that combine information from the advertising and analytics engine with third-party CRM tools like Salesforce.com. With OneView, DJLMG can tailor the user experiences to specific employees. Users see only the information that is important to their role or job function, whether they are working on a desktop in the office or a tablet in front of a client.
Molly Evans, Senior VP/Advertising and Marketing for DJLMG, said, “The Atex product supports the initiatives we have had in place to create a world class sales operation in these changing times. We’ll have pricing options, self-service and electronic capabilities that our legacy system has not afforded us. The fact that our sister divisions also chose Atex means we can leverage support from Dow Jones experts. It all works.”
The Atex Advertising system also features Atex Ad Server Integration (ASI) which will allow DJLMG to synchronize information from Atex Advertising with its ad serving engine, Open AdStream. The ASI provides one source for DJLMG staff to access customer billing, order entry, and statistical information. It also decreases the amount of time users spend entering Internet order information into separate systems.
