Siegel-Gallagher Leases 50,000 Square Feet of Vacant Industrial Space in Janesville

Janesville, WI, January 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Professional Power Products, Inc. headquartered in Darien, Wisconsin has signed a lease for just under 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space at the former ThyssenKrupp plant located at 305 Delavan Drive, Janesville, Wisconsin. This lease will be for about ⅓ of the entire plant area of the ThyssenKrupp facility which has been vacant since the GM Plant closed several months ago.

Professional Power Products, Inc. (PPPI) designs and manufactures a multiplicity of products for the power generator industry including control panel, switchgears, trailers, load banks, enclosures and UL Tanks. The client list of PPPI includes hospitals, offshore oil and gas platforms, utility companies, and many other users of standby power generating equipment.

The real estate team of Coldwell Banker Mears McGuire (Bill Mears) and Siegel-Gallagher, Inc. (Christopher Stecker and Bill Quinlivan) facilitated this transaction for PPPI and ThyssenKrupp.

This team has filled over 200,000 square feet in Janesville in the last 30 days with the combination of this transaction and the Melster Candies project at 4017 Whitney Street.

PPPI chose the ThyssenKrupp facility due to its existing heavy crane capacities of up to 30 tons in some areas, with significant electrical power distributed throughout the entire 160,000 square feet of plant area.
