University of Michigan Presentation/Fundraiser: "Older Adults and Sex"
Join psychotherapist, author, educator and lecturer Sallie Foley, LMSW for a lecture/fundraiser on January 23, 2011. Held on the campus of the University of Michigan, this event will discuss topics of sexual health as they relate to older adults.

Older adults are the fastest growing segment of the population in the United States. Sexual health is a vital part of adulthood at any age and sexual health concerns and information needs must be tailored according to age and life stage. This presentation, geared towards health and mental health providers, will address sexual health specifics for adults over 50 including changes in physiological functioning, ways to enhance sexual responsivity, sex therapy treatment considerations, and what older adults wish someone would tell them about sex after 50.

Sallie Foley, LMSW is an Ann Arbor based psychotherapist, author and lecturer. She is the director of the University of Michigan Sexual Health Certificate Program for the center for sexual health/University of Michigan Health Systems/Department of Social Work and the Graduate School of Social Work. She is an AASECT certified sexuality educator, supervisor, and diplomate of sex therapy and has been on faculty at the UM Graduate School of Social Work since 1981.
