Canidae Racing Trophy Truck Team Readies for Laughlin Race and Helps Raise Funds for Injured Rider
Determined to take the podium in 2011, the Canidae Racing team begins the off-road racing season with a new engine, and helps raise thousands of dollars at auction for injured Baja 1000 rider Justin ImHof.
San Luis Obispo, CA, January 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Armed with their new custom built 800 HP 454 CI Dougan small block Chevy powerplant, the Canidae Racing team is ready to take on their first offroad race of the 2011 season, the 17th annual SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge race in Laughlin, Nevada on January 14, 2011.
This unique, spectator friendly event promises to thrill fans not only during the race, but also at the famous Laughlin Leap beforehand. This year Canidae Racing will have a special passenger inside the race truck for this pre-race jump competition. Canidae Racing auctioned off the navigator's seat to the highest bidder with all proceeds to benefit injured Baja 1000 motocross rider Justin ImHof and his family.
The charity auction was held January 8th at Oakley Headquarters in Foothill Ranch, California.
