RE/MAX Cornerstone Celebrates Grand Opening of New Office to Serve West Chicago Real Estate Market
Elgin, IL, January 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- RE/MAX Cornerstone of West Chicago recently celebrated its move to a new office at 480 E. Roosevelt Road with a day of grand opening festivities. The new facility includes 2,200 square feet of office space plus a 1,000-square-foot conference room that will be used primarily to offer continuing education courses open to all metro Chicago real estate professionals.
“An expanded emphasis on continuing education is a key part of our new business strategy for the office,” said Michael LaFido, who is both operations manager for RE/MAX Cornerstone and an active real estate agent. LaFido and RE/MAX Cornerstone owner Jim Fleck, along with guest experts, will be the primary instructors for the continuing education curriculum presented in the new conference facility.
“We will use our continuing education program to set our office apart for its commitment to professional expertise, keep our agents fully abreast of our rapidly evolving industry and help us build solid relationships with real estate pros at other firms,” LaFido explained.
The grand opening, held on Dec. 16, consisted of a morning of complimentary continuing education classes open to all interested real estate agents, tours of the office facility and an afternoon reception for invited guests.
Approximately 30 agents attended the morning session, and another 50 guests joined them for the afternoon event.
Along with the expansive conference area, the new location gives RE/MAX Cornerstone “a truly first-class office with an efficient use of space, the newest communications technologies and facilities that are structured to the way our agents work today,” said LaFido. The office is located in a recently complete two-story office building designed in a contemporary version of the classic Prairie Style.
