Commander Bowlin had a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy with over 20 years of experience in the intelligence, national security and interagency arena, including service as a designated Joint Specialty Officer and intelligence analyst. His major military positions were as Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Mine Warfare Command; Chief Staff Officer and Deputy Director for Intelligence, Joint Warfare Analysis Center; and Current Intelligence Officer, United States Sixth Fleet.
