Toi Cook, an 11-year NFL veteran who has been involved in other technology start-ups, was excited to join the company’s Board of Advisors and sees great potential.
"I am excited to be associated with BragStats,” says Toi Cook. “Throughout my career I have been lucky to be linked to great teams and institutions like Stanford, the New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, and Carolina Panthers. I was on the first Stanford baseball team to win a CWS in 1987, the first winning team and division winner for New Orleans, the first team to win 5 Super Bowls with the 49ers, and Carolina's first team to win an NFC division title and make it to the NFC Championship game. In working with John, I feel the same way about the success BragStats is going to achieve!"
Former Cincinnati Reds player and fellow Board Member, Tim Hummel, agrees and sees a unique opportunity to build the premier social networking site exclusively for athletes and those associated with athletes. “I believe strongly in the potential for BragStats and feel confident that it will continue to see impressive member growth. It has a great leadership team, very good technology and ease of use and serves a market (i.e. sports enthusiasts) that likes to talk sports but doesn’t always feel that there is an applicable go-to place to ‘brag’ or post sports-related successes.
