Ride Across America
The Ride Across America project is as unique as they come. Monster Truck Rides USA goal from the start was to build awareness and help raise funds for local Children’s Charities around America. But as their dream grew, the project grew and they knew they were creating what would become the biggest event in all of 2007.
New York, NY, February 06, 2007 --(PR.com)-- So what is the “Ride Across America”? It’s taking a fully restored 1937, 37’ 6” fire truck, called “Big Red”, and making it into the largest and biggest Monster Fire Truck in the world… then driving it across America to raise a million dollars or more for local children’s charities in the cities Big Red will pass through.
The “Ride Across America” will start mid May as Big Red departs from New York City and head out towards Los Angeles stopping along the way for special event appearances and promotions with local media to raise funds for children’s charities.
Monster Truck Rides USA knew they wanted to make an impact, but the fact is; just imagine seeing this big old Monster Fire Truck coming down the highway…it will be like seeing the circus coming to town for the very first time! “Big Red” will be remembered for years to come in the minds of the parents and all the children who see it. “Big Red” will become a household name!
The excitement Big Red will create during this adventure will be tremendous! Making a difference in children’s lives is what Monster Truck Rides USA stands for. For the charities and underwriting sponsors, a unique opportunity can be envisioned for raising charitable funds, increasing product and brand exposure and the “good will” this project will mean to the many existing and potential new customers.
