Lou Volpini Launches Lay Low Productions

Lou Volpini, the creative force behind Lay Low Productions is poised and ready for a banner year.

Studio City, CA, January 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Private investment is the single most significant source of funding that is driving film industry development. Who knows this better than Lou Volpini, President and CEO of Lay Low Productions. He has recently combined his expertise and resources in the financial industry to launch a new company called Lay Low Productions. Lay Low Productions will work to provide a base for finding film funding sources as well as spearheading new project acquisitions. Lou plans to take the company to the top by integrating the same skills he acquired when he was a marketing executive on New York’s Madison Avenue. He was a savvy businessman who produced record growth for the companies he worked for, eventually heading up several bank sectors - one of which was an entertainment division.

It was during this period, that he developed an expertise for reading balance sheets, calculating cash flow, determining cost of capital and a myriad of other skills necessary to help his clients grow their businesses. Lou predicted the implosion of the banking industry and decided to take advantage of the multi-billion dollar film industry business by forming Lay Low Productions.

The company was founded on the premise of hard work, creativity, good connections and putting together a great team. “We know there is an incredible consumer appetite for independent films. Our company is poised to take advantage the billion dollar-plus industry and its multiple streams of revenue,” said Lou. He further comments, “Our goal is to produce commercially successful, thought provoking and compelling films”. In addition, his vision for the company is to create sustainable growth and value for the investors of Lay Low Productions’ projects. The company plans to take full advantage of the numerous tax incentives throughout the US and Canada.

“I look for film projects that will not only provide great entertainment but make good business sense,” says Lou. He further adds, “You also have to be a good negotiator”. Lou became an expert in this area while working as a high level executive on New York’s Madison Avenue. During this time he also learned another key skill that serves him well in the film industry; that is, diplomacy. He knows how to keep both the investors and the production crew happy and will intercede on behalf of both. His comprehensive business acumen and tenacious drive equals success for Lay Low Productions.

Lou resides in Newport Beach, California with the love of his life; his wife of 27 years Mary Beth and their two children. Mary Beth is an artist and breast cancer survivor. The Volpini’s are also involved with several charities, such as the Entertainment Industry Foundation, Susan G. Koman for The Cure and others.
