Ameridose Opens New State-of-the-Art Sterile Admixing Facility

Westborough, MA, January 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Ameridose, LLC, nationwide provider of sterile admixing services to hospital pharmacies, is pleased to announce the opening of its third and newest manufacturing facility. Located in Westborough, MA, the new 70,000 sq. ft. facility has been constructed using the finest building materials and contains state-of-the-art clean room equipment. Ameridose management states that the facility is designed to be fully redundant with other Ameridose facilities in order to ensure the outstanding reliability that customers expect from Ameridose. The facility’s operations also support Ameridose’s aggressive sustainability goals by incorporating the latest in environmentally friendly features.

Clean room highlights in the new Westborough facility include an HVAC system with energy efficient condensing boilers and ultrasonic humidification as well as over 400 fan-powered HEPA filter units rated at 99.9% efficiency. The energy-efficient, natural gas-fired, infrared radiant heaters installed in the shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas feature motion sensor controls for even greater efficiency. The facility construction plan incorporated a recycling program which resulted in the recycling of over 90% of all construction-related waste. Now operational, the facility complies with Ameridose’s corporate sustainability policy which requires the recycling of all paper, glass, metal, plastic, corrugated cardboard, wood, and computer/electronic waste.
